The tours of iBikeBelgrade give you the opportunity to see all sides of Belgrade in the best way possible: by bike! iBikeBelgrade offers 4 different tours as well as customized private tours for 1 to 100 persons! Our young and enthusiastic tour-guides all are fluent in English and will make sure you will have a great time, while hearing the most interesting stories about Belgrade.
The following tours are on offer:
1. Riverside Afternoon Tour – Starts every day at 14.00 at the iBikeBelgrade Meeting point at the end of Knez Mihailova street / in front of the city library
– No reservation needed, just show up at the meeting point a few minutes before the start.
Your tour-guide takes you across the Sava river to New Belgrade. Here you will be impressed by the socialist architecture and see some remarkable buildings from the times of former Yugoslavia, such as the Palace of Serbia and Hotel Yugoslavia. When it is not too hot, we will visit the old town of Zemun and have a refreshing drink at the Danube river. In the summer-time we prefer to take a boat-ride to Ada Ciganlija Island were we will have a nice and easy ride through the park, enjoying some fresh air and green surroundings, but also experience the lively boardwalk and have a drink at the beach, and if you want even a swim! After that we cruise back past the Sava towards the old town.
2. City Center Morning Tour – Starts every Saturday and Sunday at 11.00 at the iBikeBelgrade Meeting point at the end of Knez Mihailova street / in front of the city library – No reservation needed, just show up at the meeting point a few minutes before the start.
All highlight of Belgrade in just 3 hours? It is only possible by bike on our City Center Morning Tour! You will see the famous Kalemegdan fortress from a whole new perspective, pass Novak Djokovic’s tennis-courts, visit the largest green market in Belgrade (to buy some delicious fresh fruits straight from the village maybe?) and pass by the impressive St. Sava Church were we might catch a Serbian wedding going on! Also, you will see the remains of some of the bombed buildings that are still to be found across the city and hear the intriguing stories of the more recent history of Belgrade.
3. eBike Tours – Start normally at 11.00 every day at the parking-lot at Sportscentre 25th of May / Milan Gale Muškatirović, but can be booked for any time you like
– Reservation required, through email@example.com
Why sweat while you can cruise through Belgrade on an eBike? The eBike Tour basically follows the route of the Riverside Afternoon Tour, with some additions like the Kalemgdan fortress and Novak Djokovic’s tennis courts. iBikeBelgrade has enough eBikes to also host your group or company for a great new way of moving through the city, even for those who are not used to cycling that much. Every time you want to relax a bit, the electric system will take over for you!
4. Tours in Serbian / Ture na srpskom jeziku – Start every Wednesday and Saturday at 17.00 in front of KC Grad, Brace Krsmanovic 4
- Tours have to be booked in advance through www.bajskultura.rs
In cooperation with the Museum of History of Yugoslavia iBikeBelgrade offers tours in Serbian language too. The tour focusses on the socialist period of Yugoslavia and invites the participants to enter the discussion about the socialist heritage.
