Program: Saint-Saëns , Sarasate, Paganini, music from movies „Gone with the wind“, „ Scent of a Woman “, „Yentl“, „Cinema Paradiso“, „ Schindler’s List “ and „Ladies in Lavender“.

With magical sounds of his Guarnerius violin and the Symphony Orchestra of Radio Television of Serbia, led by conductor Stanko Jovanović, our famous violinist Jovan Kolundžija will celebrate his 50 years on the concert stage.

On the Program of the concert, beside  the most famous virtuoso pieces from Saint-Saens, Sarasate, and Paganini , will be performed the most beautiful music from movies, and as a special guest maestro will be joined on stage by one of the best young violinist Yury Revich who will play on Stradivarius violin.

Fifty years of artistic journey of the celebrated Serbian violinist are described by impressive numbers – more than four thousand concerts in the most prestigious concert halls (Carnegie Hall in New York,  Tchaikovsky in Moscow, Gaveau in Paris, the George Enescu Philharmonic Hall in Bucharest, Santa Cecilia in Rome, Beas Artes in Mexico City , the Gewandhaus in Leipzig, Dvorak concert hall, etc.); performances in over forty five countries worldwide; conquered countless prizes from Paris, via London, Budapest, Poland, New York, Moscow, Mexico City, Zagred, Dubrovnik, Sarajevo… as well as all of the most prestigious National awards (October Award, Vuk, Golden Lira, the Gramata Serbian Patriarch Pavle …); performed at prestigious festivals (Salzburg, Berlin, Evian, Prague Spring, Mexican Servantino, Bratislava Music Festival, Dubrovnik, Ljubljana, Emilia Romagna … including all the most significant festivals in the former Yugoslavia and Serbia); a great number of humanitarian concerts; member of FIAM – UNESCO, brilliant and extremely demanding concert ventures (Ten Magnificent, Do you like Beethoven, Bravissimo maestro Mozart, In honor of the great Brahms…). He was admired by the greatest artists as Henryk Szeryng, David Oistrakh, Yehudi Menuhin, Aldo Ciccolini, Alexis Weissenberg …

Gala concert in Kolarac, where he will celebrate with his faithful audience the Golden Jubilee, Maestro Kolundžija is continuing  one of the longest concert tradition in the region – this concert will be the tenth consecutive winter gathering of maestro with his Belgrade audience.
