NEW ACCOLADES FOR BELGRADE ARE COMING FROM GERMANY

March issue of the popular travel magazine "abenteuer und reisen"features the story about Belgrade followed by the series of photos, while the „Travelbook.de“ highlights “9 PRETTY GOOD REASONS FOR A TRIP TO BELGRADE”.

In the "abenteuer und reisen" travel journalist and photographer Dietmar Denger says: “Art in Belgrade can be found everywhere: on the facades, in the parks, even on the old construction fence in Knez Mihailova Street”.

Paris has Montmartre, Vienna its Grinzing, Munich its Schwabing. Belgrade’s old bohemian quarter is called Skadarlija.

In the bars and clubs there is a feeling of no tomorrow. This energy is everywhere. It is contagious, inspiring and makes it so addictive that you wish you could bring it back home with you.“.

The hills surrounding the city provide fantastic views - especially, of course, from the Kalemegdan park by the castle – giving it a bit of a San Francisco feeling in the streets. And then there are the rivers: Danube and Sava which seem to affectionately hug the city.

Among numerous events and festivals in Belgrade, Cornelia recommands Belgrade dance Festival, Belgrade Design Week, Mikser Festival, Belgrade Fashion Week, Jazz Festival.

Somehow you never know what’s coming. Everything is open, everything seems possible. The new district "Belgrade Waterfront" for example, almost a type of Hamburg’s HafenCity for the capital of Serbia”
