Church of the Ascension

The Church of the Ascension can be found in Admirala Geprata Street 19.

Tourist Organization of Belgrade

It was erected in 1863 on orders by Prince Mihailo Obrenović, for use by the soldiers from the Grand Barracks located nearby. The bell tower contains several bells, including the one first rang on the Cathedral Church in 1830 when the Principality of Serbia gained its autonomy.
