HISTORY AND HERITAGE FREE WALKING TOUR

Learn about our roots, religion, mentality, our history but also insides to the rich Serbian heritage. You will find out about special customs and celebrations that are only celebrated in Serbia.

On the on the way to the Temple of St. Sava we will show you the oldest hotel in Belgrade, then Nikola Pasic square and tell you how Serbia was involved in the I and II World War. We will pass by National Assembly, Old Palace and you will find out more about Serbian royal dynasties. After we will pass by St. Marko’s church and the building that is still in ruins from the NATO bombing in the 1999. Walk continues across Tasmajdan park heading to the Nikola Tesla museum where you will hear the stories about this genius mind. Final stop is at St. Sava Temple where we will enter to see the crypt.

Tranquil walk through the cobbled narrow streets, authentic architecture, picturesque Danube river bank and the breathtaking view from Gardos hill.

CITY CENTER

The tour ends near the famous Knez Mihailova street  with useful tips for easy orientation when searching for what to see and what to do in Belgrade, places to eat out, and especially for avoiding tourist traps in the city.
