The Museum of Applied Arts

This edifice in Topličin venac is known as the Čelebonović Palace, and houses the Museum of Applied Arts. In the past, it belonged to the family of Marko Čelebonović, one of the most famous Serbian painters of the 20th century.

The Museum of Applied Arts belongs to a category of specialized museums. We invite you to come and take a look at the collection of the Museum of Applied Arts and to discover its beauty and diversity. The collection contains valuable jewelry, old manuscripts and printed books, objects made of carved wood, ivory and mother of pearl and icons - both painted and engraved in wood. The oldest objects owned by the museum date from the 4th century BC and belong to the numismatic collection (the money from ancient Greece).
