Belgrade Summer School 2012
Belgrade Summer School 2012 gathers young people from Serbia, region and world on a professional language upgrade in Belgrade, through 16th to 29th of July.
The School has educative and social segments. Educative part is given by the Concord Communications, licensed by the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which offers professional upgrade of English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Greek, Russian, Arabian, Chinese and Serbian language through an intense two-weeks program.
Social segment includes excursions in Belgrade and Serbia, where participant can be introduced to the local culture and history, during visits to Fruska Gora monasteries, Sremske Karlovce, Novi Sad, Topola and Oplenac.
Having that language is a basic communication tool, the Belgrade Summer School supports cultural and social tolerance among young people from around the world and helps them overcome language barriers, by connecting them in Belgrade which becomes the educational and cultural center in South-Eastern Europe.
Last year, Belgrade Greeters joined Belgrade Summer School to volunteer in guiding young visitors in Belgrade.
Project is organized by the Fond for International Communications and supported by the Tourist Organization of Belgrade, Concord Communications and many other organizations and companies.
