International New Music Festival “Ring Ring”

The festival has been established in 1996, after the years of cultural embargo, as desire of Belgrade audience to hear another music, such as free jazz, experimental, electro acoutisc, contemporary avantgarde, world music, avant rock. Since the start we have presented more than 200 groups and artists from more than 50 countries. The festival is also the launch for local groups giving them opportunity to present their new works as well as to colloborate with renowned world artists. Moreover, the festival has established close cooperation with festivals from Czech Republic, Hungary, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, so that is also new chance for local artists. The most recent project the festival has been involved with is “Phonart – The Lost Languages of Europe“, which has been selected from EU programe „2007-2013“ for the support.
