Song of the day: The Beatles – Can’t Buy me Love

Yeah, we all travel for the museums, new experience, to learn about the new cultures and meet new interesting people. But, that doesn’t mean we can’t shop as well.

If you’re into well known brands, you can shop downtown or in one of the shopping malls. Knez Mihailova street, Terazije, Bulevar Kralja Aleksandra, Kralja Petra etc. offer familiar brand names like Hugo Boss, Mango, Zara, Springfield, Diesel, Replay, Benetton, Cavalli and so on. Moreover, here you can find some domestic cool brands as well, such as Mona and P.S. fashion.

Shopping malls Delta City and Ušće shopping centre in Novi Beograd are for those who like to do all their shoppings in one place and they offer a wide variety of brands in one space, along with the movie theatres, play rooms and chains of global fast food, such as KFC, McDonald’s etc.

However, if you’re into cheap shopping, we suggest you pay visit to the flea market (Buvljak) in Novi Beograd, where you can find everything from bicycles to house appliances, clothing and footwear. Block 70 offers small China vendors’ goods, while downtown you can have a look at Depo on Kralja Aleksandra Boulevard.

If you’re interested in authentic designer stuff, pay a visit to Čumićevo sokače (Choomich) at Terazije Square. It is designer district that gathered local famous and new fashion designers.
