AFRO FESTIVAL

26. 06. 2021.
The Afro Festival is one of the Museum of African Art’s most important and most popular annual events. The Festival offers an array of different content: exhibitions and lectures, concerts, book-talks and promotions, film and video screenings about the arts and cultures of Africa, art and other creative workshops for children, as well as public guided tours through museum displays.
Don’t miss Festival music performances, or the African Bazaar – sales exhibition of arts and crafts from different parts of Africa. Sunday is Durbar day – a special segment of the Festival which, with the participation of African embassies in Belgrade, is the highlight of Festival celebrations. On Durbar day, African embassies and consulates arrange stands, which through tourist pamphlets, souvenirs and other types of promotional materials promote their countries: Algeria, Angola, Guinea, Egypt, Congo, Libya, Morocco, Tunisia and the consulate of Namibia.
