The collection contains 165 icons from the period between the 15th and the 20th centuries in Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Italy, Greece and Russia. The most beautiful icons offer a rare opportunity to observe and trace the main directions in the development of the Greek icon painting in the post-Byzantine era.
