Since 1952, the Museum has been housed in a historical edifice from the 19^th century, in the former home of a Belgradian merchant, Miloje Božić. The Museum’s collections encompass the history of all aspects of the national dramatic arts, be they related to people, plays, repertoire or festivals. Numerous thematic exhibitions are prepared for the visitors using the items from the considerable opus of archived documents, letters, manuscripts, performance reviews, posters and programs, sketches of scenography and costume design and newspaper clippings.
